DEFENESTRATION

Feet First, Needle:

Part of the Spring Line.  Light.  Swift.  A mechanism to bring the eye downward.  For a second, a surface, but then like the grass of the knoll, a handsome buckling underfoot.  (Buckles are in.)  And something to spur the ankles: sharks’ teeth, jellyfish, a general back to the beach ankle tattoo motif.

Cannonball, What-the-Hell:

Part of the Winter Line: made for ample debris.  Back to snowboarding basics here, but this time: the devil may care.  Bulking around the shoulders means a slendering in the middle.  Think propulsion, think bolus, think bulimia.

Frontal Planar, Flatness:

Gives a falling effect to accentuate the vertical: think Rainmaker.  The new pinstripe, informs height as well as emphasizes the correct topography of the skin, especially around the chest and abdomen.  Think Urinal.

Dorsal Planar, Jackknife:

Titillating surprise.  A flow into the top of the buttocks with an abrupt emphasis on curvature.  Think The Warm Pool of Water in the Small of my Back as – Slightly Arced – I Masturbate in the Shower.

Head First, Halo:

Though edgier and more contemporary.  Not the Elizabethan cone, not Canine.  But Starch: the long awaited return of the popped collar, with a winging down at the tips.  The new Frame for Fame: a sharpness like of a paper airplane, something to point the eyes.  Think Marc Jacobs and a new urban medium: Style Stings.
